What can you make pickaxes out of in minecraft

It's used to mine ores, rock, and blocks at faster speeds. In this video, watch as we show you how to make each type of pickaxe in the game. Plus, we cover some important pickaxe facts and when it's best to use each one. First, let's open your crafting menu in Minecraft. You should see the same grid as in the image below.

In the crafting table, add the 2 sticks and depending on the type of pickaxe you want to make, the 3 planks, cobblestones, iron ingots, gold ingots, OR diamonds to the grid. You must add each item to the crafting grid exactly as shown in the image below. Definitions Description is what the item is called and Minecraft ID Name is the string value that is used in game commands.

Minecraft ID is the Internal number for the item. Minecraft DataValue or damage value identifies the variation of the block if more than one type exists for the Minecraft ID.

Platform is the platform that applies. Definitions Stackable indicates whether the item can be stacked with more than 1 item in a stack.

Stack Size is the maximum stack size for this item. While some items in Minecraft are stackable up to 64, other items can only be stacked up to 16 or 1. If you are running a mod, some mods may change the stack size for an item.

Definitions Enchantment is what the enchantment is called. Description is the description of what the enchantment does.

Each log will create four planks, and we'll need nine in total. Take four of your planks and fill up the crafting space in your inventory. This will give us a Crafting Table! Now we're going to two sticks.

Place two wood planks into your Crafting Table or crafting area in your inventory. Stack the planks on top of each other to get four sticks! We have all the ingredients we need, so we just need to put it all together.

If you haven't already, place your Crafting Table on the ground somewhere you can pick it up again by punching or hitting it with a tool.
