Shame we visited in winter as summer time would be the best time to visit, but that did not deter us enjoying the indoor golf in Rosebud, lunch out at a great cafe in Rosebud, then having a romantic dinner with a delicious bottle of red wine to share in the bistro at Stella's.
Dromana is a great family beach location and central spot for accessing the attractions of the Mornington Peninsula. Dromana and Rosebud have all the urban shopping and eateries available in the suburbs of Melbourne. There seemed to be a regular bus service passing the hotel to the towns along the bay. What an amazing gem!
The beach has soft, white sand and gentle waters no waves. Parking was ample and easy to find. There are many restaurants and cafes on the main street, within walking distance from the beach.
Food choices are plenty! There are also several breweries nearby and of course the Dromana Drive-Inn. You can do more here than just a day trip from Melbourne.
