Skyjacking a manned helicopter while in-flight is made much easier with the upgraded Whipfist. Targeting the helicopter with the Whipfist and pressing [grab] will sling Alex onto the helicopter. He automatically latches on. The further the helicopter is from Alex, the longer [grab] must be held. If the helicopter is approached from any direction other than the front, the player will have to press the A-button repeatedly to move to the cockpit, at which point skyjacking resumes.

Alternately, if the player does not have the Whipfist equipped or is in disguise , Alex can be moved in range to skyjack by performing an aerial kick while the helicopter is targeted.
